VirtualBox - CentOS 6.3 で GuestAdditions インストール時に OpenGL でエラー！

仮想マシン Oracle VirtualBox(Ver.4.1.18) にゲストOSとして CentOS 6.3(x86_64) のデスクトップ環境を導入後、Geust Additions をインストールしようとすると OpenGL の部分で以下のようなエラーが発生します。

# su -
# cd /media/VBOX*
# ./VBoxLinuxAdditions.run

以下、対処方法についてのメモです。

対処方法

0. 前提条件

• 当方が確認した Virtual Box は 4.1.18
• ホストOSは Windows XP SP3 (32bit)
• ゲストOSは CentOS 6.3 (x86_64)
• ゲストOSに Guest Additions を当てるのに必要な gcc, make, kernel-devel はインストール済み

1. パッチの取得

“vboxvideo_drm.c” というソースに不具合があるようなので、こちら（www.centos.org - Forums - CentOS 6 - General Support - VBOX Guest Additions for CentOS 6.3）から CentOS 6.3 用のパッチを取得して保存する。 保存先は “/usr/src/vboxguest-4.1.18/vboxvideo” で、ファイル名は “vboxvideo_drm.c.patch” とする。 （ゲスト側（CentOS）でブラウザからコピーして、vi エディタで貼り付ける方法が一番簡単です）

2. パッチの適用

ターミナルで、以下のように su ユーザになってパッチを適用する。

$ su -
# cd /usr/src/vboxguest-4.1.18/vboxvideo
# patch < vboxvideo_drm.c.patch
patching file vboxvideo_drm.c

3. Guest Additions のセットアップ

ここで “/media/VBOX*” ディレクトリの “VBoxLinuxAdditions.run” を実行すると先ほど当てたパッチが無効になってしまうので、以下のようにしてセットアップする。(su ユーザのままで)

# /etc/rc.d/init.d/vboxadd setup
Removing existing VirtualBox DKMS kernel modules           [  OK  ]
Removing existing VirtualBox non-DKMS kernel modules       [  OK  ]
Building the VirtualBox Guest Additions kernel modules
Building the main Guest Additions module                   [  OK  ]
Building the shared folder support module                  [  OK  ]
Building the OpenGL support module                         [  OK  ]
Doing non-kernel setup of the Guest Additions              [  OK  ]
You should restart your guest to make sure the new modules are actually used

4. ゲスト OS のリブート

Guest Additions を有効化するために、ゲスト OS（CentOS） をリブートする。

5. 動作確認

ゲスト OS (CentOS) で 3D 効果が使用できるようになっているか、ホスト OS とシームレスなマウス移動、クリップボードの共有等ができるようになっているか、等を確認する。

その他

ちなみに、ゲスト OS が CentOS 6.2 だと、上記のパッチでは失敗します。 CentOS 6.2 の場合のパッチは以下のサイトで入手可能です。
